Make a Glittered Wedding Centerpiece

Are you having a spring Easter wedding? Need a centerpiece idea that will be easy on the budget for your wedding or wedding reception tables. This idea will bring just the right amount of sparkle to your tables. Here is how you can make glittered Easter eggs for your special Easter wedding centerpieces to use for your wedding or your wedding reception. There are a couple of different techniques to do this and make beautiful eggs, here's how.

How To Make Glitter Easter Eggs - Simplemost

HARD BOILED EGGS: First you will need to either choose to hard boil your eggs or blow your eggs to prepare them for the chunky craft glitter. To hard boil your eggs, simply place all of you eggs in a pot of boiling water for about 15 minutes until the insides are cooked well. This will make it easier to glitter your eggs without worrying about the yolks going everywhere if you break them.

BLOWN EGGS: The next way that you could do your eggs is to blow the yolk and egg white out of the egg. To do this you simply need to poke small holes in each end of the egg. Next, you will blow on one hole easily, while lightly holding the egg, as not to crack it. The yolk and white will then come out of the other hole in the opposite end of the egg that you are blowing on. You may need to blow a little more forcefully if you are having trouble getting the yolk and white to come out. This method is another method to allow a cleaner painting of the eggs, in case any would break during the painting and glittering process.

PAINT YOUR GLITTERED EGGS: You could paint your eggs so that they match your wedding colors if you would like. You could also leave some of them white it you would like. You could even do white with clear glitter and gold or silver glittered eggs, if these colors would match your wedding well. You could do pastel colored eggs or bright colors, the options are endless and totally up to you.

SPRAY YOUR GLITTERED EGGS: Once you have the eggs painted the colors that you want, then it is time to glitter them. Simply spray on the clear glitter once the paint on your eggs has dried. You could also use gold or silver spray glitter t spray on white eggs to make them gold or silver.

PUT TOGETHER YOUR CENTERPIECES: Now all you need is matching bowls or baskets to place your glittered eggs in to set on your tables. You could use glass bowls to place the eggs in or you could use wicker baskets to show them off, with a little greenery wrapped around the handles. Make elegant and make it fancy, but most of all keep it affordable and simple.
